Winter Can't Kill Me!

Mon Jan 4, 2010, 4:56 PM
Gosh, I know, I died again. AGAIN.

But now I have to blab about the awesomeness that is Sherlock Holmes and Avatar. Aren't you excited? :excited:

Basically, as long as you have no prior allegiance to the original Sherlock, you will love the new movie. Well, that and you have to either not mind or like violence. There is a lot of fighting in the movie. But I am so ok with that, because I am sadistic and like pain in my movies. Hay? :shrug: Btw, the soundtrack is awesome too.

And Avatar! :icondurrhurrplz: Seriously, I don't know why I thought I was going to hate it. It is so aMmaAaAaAazziNng!!!! So beautiful, so fun, so inspiring. WIN. WIN on all levels WIN. :faint:

Oh and to not see it in 3D is a sin. A SIN, I SAY.
It really puts it on such a different level. :heart:

Lastly,
Lingerfly, I'm really almost done with your request. Almost done, but stuck. Such is the story of my life. *sigh*

oh, intuos

Srsly, I almost broke my tablet pen last night. I was trying to get the rubber grip off, and the whole pen completely and violently came apart. I was all AAUGGHGHTWTFNOOOOO and was all epic and dramatic.

I didn't realize that they could come apart. XD

But all is good. It still works. Sort-of. OTL I did break off this one little piece, but it turns out it's just part of the clicker thing (right and left clicker thing, ya know...?) So I can't right click but hey, that's okay.

And APPARENTLY there's a battery in there somewhere that can make the pen go funky when it's low...but I didn't see anything that looked like a recognizable battery.

Does anybody else own an Intuos and know what I'm talking about, draw me a diagram? Or am I just full of sh-t and there actually isn't a battery in there?

Dinosaur Computer

Ho-kay, so ya know how I was whining a while back about how photoshop was being slow and annoying?
Yeah, so I found out it wasn't photoshop that was the problem.

It was the fact that my computer has only 192MB of RAM.
OTL. Basically that is the worst of the worst....of the worst.

Methinks it's time for an upgrade. Into the 21st century...|X

I am in the groove now. I can feel my motivational fuel being replenished! Yaaay!

And I won't be forming legs of steel after all. I caved in and started driving to a P&R. I know, the shame. If I didn't like to wear uncomfortable shoes, I don't think it would have become an issue. 9_9;

That and the fact that we (brother and I) were almost roadkill on many occasions. Especially when an ambulance or firetruck came by. SERIOUSLY. Pulling over for those vehicles is important, yes, but not so important that one needs to kill those of us doomed to walk down sidewalkless roads. Personally, I think everybody should be required to walk a mile to work/bus/school for a week every year just to remind ourselves of how dangerous we all are in giant zooming metal boxes. Especially when it comes to pedestrians. I know it made me realize how shitty I drive around them. Which is sad..because I like to think of myself as a pretty decent driver. DX

Ugh is the appropriate adjective.

Whew, getting into the whole college routine sure winded me! I feel like I've been hit by a semi! =,= (sooo sleeepy). Plus it doesn't help that I have to walk over the hills and through the woods to get to the bus stop (I live in a new development, so they haven't extended the bus lines yet BOOOOO! = C). But I'd rather walk than drive down a traffic-cam infested road (those things are out to get me, I know it!:paranoid: ) and park. Oh god, parking. No thanks. At least this way, by the end of the quarter I'll have LEGS OF STEEL!!!

Also, my English class is online, which is very strange and is taking a lot of getting used to. It's really hard not to talk how I do here, which I feel is sort of slangy and emoticon-happy and grammatically incorrect. 9.9;

SO, my point was supposed to be that for a week or two, I'm going to be pretty inactive and most likely not be able to work on those requests. Once I adjust to my new reality, I'll pick it right back up! Sorry!
